With songwriting prowess beyond her young years, the Chess Club/RCA folk singer, who grew up on a musical diet of Bowie, Portishead and Loudon Wainwright, continues to impress with gorgeously emotive and bucolic acoustic ballads. She explains 'Milk & Honey' is “a song about the greed of people, the thoughts that we’re all sort of stuck in this consumerist frame of mind”.
